Butt hinges are a strong and reliable gate fitting designed to provide smooth, secure movement for timber gates and garden doors.

Consisting of two hinged leaves that fit neatly together, they create a robust pivot point that allows gates to open and close easily while maintaining excellent stability and support.

They are ideal for those who want to hide the hinges on your gate. We always recommend you use 3 butt hinges on gates 1.5m Tall or higher. If your gate is 1.8m high or taller we recommend you use 4 hinges.
