The Repair Spur is made for repairing wooden posts that are concreted into the ground and have snapped off at ground level, it’s designed to be driven in down the side of the existing post to allow a new post to be inserted in the top and secured with 2 bolts in a clamping fix. It cannot be used as an alternative to the spike.
