The Picket Fence, also known as Palisade fencing, has become the poster image for the front garden fence. It allows light in and secures your boundaries but still gives a classic cottage feel. Round-top pickets give a different aesthetic to the classic pointed boards and are often used in primary schools as a safer alternative around smaller children.
